Previous experience/positions: Behavioral Health Navigator: provided psychoeducation and supported implementation of mental health techniques and healthy lifestyle choices/routines, and coordination of care with providers. Prior to that, she worked with incarcerated individuals supporting and co-facilitating life skills and reentry readiness, as well as developing and improving programming at correctional facility.
Approach to counseling: Various approaches including but not limited to motivational interviewing, CBT, solution-focused, and narrative. “You know yourself best, so I use various approaches to support and empower you in harnessing and extracting all that that entails. Sessions are used to address, adapt, and implement adjustments for situational, experiential, and overall life improvement.
