Approach to counseling: “My approach to therapy is unique in that I am an Art Therapist and I bring a more eclectic approach to my therapy sessions. I incorporate various art materials to foster creative expression to explore feelings, manage behaviors, reduce anxiety, increase self-esteem and self-awareness, encourage emotional resiliency, promote insight, enhance social skills, and reduce and resolve conflicts. This way of working allows the individuals I meet with to be more expressive and gain a better understanding of what they are going through, by having visuals and using color to provide them with a positive experience in addressing their needs/behaviors.”
