Education: BS in Health Sciences from Purdue University, Master of Art’s in Mental Health & Wellness Counseling from New York University.

Areas of experience/specialty: I have worked and volunteered with Neurodivergent teenagers and adults, as well as LGBTQIA+ populations. For the last year I did my internship working in forensic psychology with a focus on incarcerated teens.

Previous experience/positions: I have worked in healthcare since 2015, starting as a med-tech in memory care. I have worked in nursing at LVHN since 2018, mostly in geriatrics. I have worked as a CNA for the past 8 years and worked in med/surg as well as neuroscience.

Approach to counseling: My approach to counseling revolves around mindfulness and the here-and-now tenets of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I work from a trauma-informed approach with an focus on Radical Self-Acceptance.
