Where are you located?

1411 Union Boulevard, Allentown, PA between the McDonald’s and the U-Haul parking lot on Union, on the same side of Union. This is about ½ mile from the Airport Rd/Irving Rd/Union Blvd. intersection.

Is Haven House a walk-in clinic?

No. Current clients are seen by appointment only. For new clients, registration information, client insurance verification, and assessment session must be completed before scheduling an appointment with a psychiatrist or therapist.

What hours are you open?

Outpatient Services are open Monday through Saturday, 8:00 am to various evening hours, ending between 5:00 and 7:00 pm.

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services (PRS) are Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 3:00 pm. Mobile PRS and Wellness Recovery Team vary and must be scheduled with your assigned navigator or caseworker.

Do you have bi-lingual Spanish speaking services?

Yes! If you are Spanish-speaking please call us here at (610) 433-6181. Press 2 for Spanish.

Do you have translator services for languages other than English and Spanish?

We have Spanish speaking therapists, case managers, and doctors available. We utilize a phone-in Language Line interpreter service for those who speak other languages and prefer to use their fluent language.

Do you accept my insurance?

We accept:

Medicare/Medicaid – for Lehigh County and Northampton County residents

Magellan Behavioral Health – Medicaid and private Commercial

Lehigh and Northampton County Mental Health funding – We are contracted through Lehigh and Northampton County MH to provide services for qualifying individuals.

Most major private insurance providers, such as Capital Blue, Highmark, United HealthCare, etc.

Please feel free to contact our Billing office to verify a qualifying insurance (see Contact Us page). We do
add new additional private commercial insurance providers.

Is my information kept confidential?

Yes! We take your privacy and protected information very seriously at Haven House. Information may be shared with your treatment team (psychiatrist, nurse, therapist, clinical supervisor).

There are some limitations to HIPPA: regarding self-harm, injury or threat of injury to another person, and report of or suspected child abuse. We follow HIPPA and reporting requirements required by law.

Is there parking?

Free parking is available. On-street parking on Union Boulevard and a fenced back parking lot accessible only from E. Livingston Street.

Is there access to public transportation?

Yes. There are bus stops on every corner within 1-2 blocks of Haven House. Multiple lines run from Allentown and Bethlehem throughout the day and evening.
