Cindy Malone, MA

Education: Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Kutztown University

Areas of experience/specialty: Most of Cindy’s experience has focused on working with individuals who are challenged with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia, grieving/loss issues, and relationship issues.

Previous experience/positions: Over 30 years work experience at Haven House including the positions of Caseworker, Site Supervisor, and currently as Therapist in the Outpatient Program. Additional work experience includes providing outpatient therapy at Catholic Social Agency for 2 years and providing outpatient therapy in private practice for 2 years. Internships were completed at Haven House, Delaware State Hospital, several community hospitals, and Catholic Social Agency

Approach to counseling: “My approach to therapy is both individualized and comprehensive, applying principles and skills from cognitive, behavioral, humanistic, and psychodynamic therapies. Providing therapy to people in need and seeing progress is very rewarding, as is the challenge of each person’s needs and life experiences being unique.”
