Areas of experience/specialty: Works well with teenagers and adult women, involvement with the legal system and has previous experience with bereavement, grief and loss.

Previous experience/position: Previously worked with youth in the juvenile system, high school students and adults dealing with grief and loss. She has also worked as an intensive case manager with children and adults who have mental illnesses.

Approach to counseling: “I use a strengths-based and client-centered approach and believe it is important that individuals feel they are in control of their treatment. I focus on guiding them with the ability to recognize their strengths. I believe it is important to help build self-esteem in order to provide for successful treatment.”
